Treatment Program
The treatment program utilizes Neurovascular Restructuring (NVR) to manipulate soft tissue for the purpose of alleviating pain and/or discomfort. Neurovascular restructuring involves lifting and separating layers of injured oft tissue. The Neurovasc apparatus and NVR method manipulates the patients soft tissue, with specificity to the structure and damaged areas of the superficial tissues, this alleviates pain and/or discomfort, which provides long term relief without producing significant discomfort during application of the treatment.
The Neurovasc device is used in the NVR process for treating soft tissue trauma comprising the steps of applying heat or cold to injured soft tissue, and then utilizing a Neurovasc vacuum pump and cups to mobilize the injured soft tissue by using the neurovascular restructuring methodology.
The treatment process begins with the preliminary step of taking a detailed patient history focusing on disorders of neurovascular components, trauma, skeletal defects, medications, mental and emotional states, or a physical examination of the soft tissue trauma. The soft tissue in the damaged area is then restructured by performing multiple treatments using the Neurovasc vacuum pump apparatus. As the patient’s treatments advance, the first and second vacuum cups become smaller and vacuum pressure increases. In addition, the treatment may include the use of vacuum cups having center posts.
Patients' have reported lower pain levels, reduced stress, reduced depression and lower anxiety levels as a reslt of this treatment. The process of manipulating and releasing our patient’s entrapped nerves also stimulated the brain to release natural pain-killing chemicals which helped to reset the brain’s own “anti-pain system”.
